Our Process

The Home Building Process

Home Building ProcessDuring construction of Stacey homes, owner Sam Tavor serves as the general contractor and superintendant for the home site. He oversees the entire building sequence of every house, making sure each home is purposefully and solidly constructed.

The Stacey process begins with site preparation and form setting to establish the base outline of the house. Initial plumbing is also set. The slab is then poured and framing is put up, giving the house a concrete foundation and wood structures for the walls. Roofing begins, along with electrical, heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning work. House wrap then encloses the home to seal it from water and air. Windows are installed next, after which insulation and sheet rock are applied to the walls.

At this point, finishing work starts, concentrating on the inside and outside wall materials, textures, trim, paint, doors, and cabinets. Flooring is the final inside step, followed by landscape on the outside.

High End Finishes

High End FinishesFrom the inside out, every Stacey home is a luxury home. Attention is paid to even the smallest details so that homes are precisely and exquisitely finished. Kitchens boast granite countertops and custom cabinetry, both hand-selected for their beauty and integration into the functional space. Exotic hardwoods, tile, and slate cover the floors, and rich baseboards and trim outline faux-finished walls. Chandeliers are included as well to elegantly light the foyer, dining room, and other significant areas. Outside, exterior finishes vary from brick to stucco to rock, as well as combinations of all three for a stunning view from the street.

As a Houston luxury homebuilder, Stacey Fine Homes places only high-efficiency air-conditioning units in its houses to ensure comfort throughout. Furthermore, water heaters for the homes are all tankless, often with more than one unit to heat many water functions at once.

Architectural Home Design

Architectural DesignBefore a Stacey home is built, its architectural floor plans are perfected. Stacey floor plans are specifically designed to exceed the needs and conveniences of future homeowners. Large kitchens are always in the plans, providing plenty of room for cooking, casual eating, and entertaining. Closets are also spacious, and ceilings reach 12 to 16 feet in height, making rooms impressive and impactful.

Outside, unique summer kitchens are often integrated into Stacey floor plans, and home designs always accommodate for pools and spas.

Home Site Selection

Every property on which Stacey Fine Homes builds a house is individually selected and purchased by owner Sam Tavor. With business efficiency, economic awareness, and experienced Houston-market insight, he chooses home sites in West University, Tanglewood, Memorial, and Medical Center areas. This strategy makes all Stacey homes in the right place at the right time for Houston homebuyers.
