About Sam Tavor

Stacey Fine Homes owner Sam Tavor moved to the United States from Israel in 1973. He worked as an electrician in Philadelphia for 7 years before seeking the warmer winters of Houston, where he found employment with an air-conditioning company. Visiting homebuilding sites every day, Tavor learned the business and began advising the contractors working on the job sites. Within 6 months, he realized he was essentially designing homes and so started his own business. He designed and built one home, sold it, and repeated the process.

Sam Tavor also serves as the designer, general contractor, and superintendant for every Stacey home. He spends ample time on the job sites and knows each home inside and out. His insight, discipline, meticulousness, and taste are uniquely reflected in every house built, as well as in the reputation of Stacey Fine Homes.
